Meet The Morley's!!

So for those of you who have been pregnant, you know that your mind goes missing for about 7 of the 9 months. I forgot the password to my old blog and haven't been blogging since we were in New York. So here I am. Like a year later, finally getting around to it!
Let's see, where should I start? Well for those of you who were following my other blog, danielandhaley.blogspot.com, you know that we lived in NYC for a few months. It was a lot of......fun I guess you could say! It was an experience I will never forget. I feel like it was a great experience for me to grow as a person and for Dan and I to grow as a couple. Everyone says that when you get married you should move away from your families and learn how to depend on eachother. Well that's exactly what we did and I'm so glad that we did it.
So after NYC we moved back in with my parents. We were broke after our 10k summer in the Big Apple and had to start at square one. We came home August 18th and were stressing about a job, an apartment, and what we were going to do now that we were back in Idaho. We had been shooting our resume's out everywhere and were hearing nothing back. We were really starting to panic. Don't get me wrong, I loved living with my family and it was great to spend so much time with them, but we needed our own place. All of our wedding gifts were in storage and I wanted to use them and decorate my own place and feel like we were settling down somewhere.
Well to add to the stress, September 1st (exactly 1 yr after we met) we found out we were expecting a baby! We were both so excited but really stressed about how we were going to take care of our little bundle of joy. We had to put our Faith in the Lord and trust that everything was going to work out. And that's exactly what happened.
About 3 weeks later Dan found out that he got a job for a great company called Clickbank. They were growing rapidly and needed account managers to handle their top clients. We were so happy! It was such a relief and took so much stress off of us!
So Dan started his new job, we moved out, and I finally got to use all my wedding presents and decorate our little apartment. We were loving our new life and felt great about how things turned out.
December 12th we found out that we were having a baby boy! We went crazy buying stuff for his little sailboat themed room, thinking of names, and feeling him kick and squirm all over in my belly. He moved soooo much! Whenever the Dr. tried to find the heart beat he'd always say "Does he always move this much?!" yeah tell me about it doc.
Damon Hulse Morley Made his grand arrival May 6, 2010 at 1:11 weighing in at 8lbs 8 oz and 21 in long. He was a big boy. My delivery story is pretty crazy. If you want to read about it, visit my "mommy" blog at www.mommybrigade.blogspot.com. That's where I will be posting all my stuff about being a mom. I want this blog to be just about us as a family. Mommybrigade is going to be a fun read for all you mom's. You'll have to check it out when I get it up and running.
Anyways! Being a Mom is my favorite thing! We both fell in love with Damon from the second we saw him. He was the sweetest little guy we've ever seen.  Here's a few pictures for you!

So the end of September we decided to buy a house. We found the perfect house for us in Meridian. We love love love being in a house. Our own yard, garage, and no noisy neighbors above or below us! Damon is such a good baby. He's happy and healthy, crawls all over the place, and laugh at me all the time. He eats as much as I do I swear! I feel like he's always eating! He's a big boy. He makes the funniest faces! We can't imagine our life without him!
Dan's family moved to Florida, so that's where we spent Christmas! It was such a great time! We went to Universal studios and Disney World. It was so much fun. I've always wanted to visit those parks. We spent the first 3 days riding rides and having a blast! Then we went to Dan's parent's house and it was so nice and relaxing. They live in a beautiful area. It was so nice to see them for the holidays! I can't wait to go back! Here's some Pic's of our trip!

Right now Damon is napping. He really had a tough time sleeping at first. The last month he's been great and will sleep all night. It's been sooo nice! He's such a good little guy. He has 6 teeth and will be 10 months old this Sunday. This Sunday will also be our 2 yr anniversary! I can't believe it! It's been the best 2 years of my life. I can't believe how many wonderful things have happened to me since I met Dan. He is the best husband and Daddy. Damon get's so excited to see him everyday when he gets home from work. He loves his Dad so much. I'm so blessed. Life couldn't get any better! I hope you all enjoyed my post! Sorry it's so long! I just had so much to catch up on! My computer is going to explode so I better post this! Feel free to leave comments! I'd love to hear how all of you are doing!
