School has started, my life has ended!

School has started again....and it's definitely not my favorite thing in the world. I feel like all of my spare time goes towards school. Example: Today I've been doing homework all freakin day. My friend Casey came over and watched Damon for me so I could focus. It seems like no matter how much time I spend on homework, it doesn't put a dent in the workload for the week. Right now I'm having a class meeting, which are the MOST boring things in the world. Since it's the beginning of the semester, the teacher is taking her sweet time getting everyone used to the adobe tools. Seriously, it's not even hard. But all of my professors are spending so much time going over it. It drives me nuts. So, here I am. Blogging. hahaha
I'm taking 14 credits this semester. After this semester I'll have 4 credits left to get my associates. I know to some of you that doesn't seem like a lot, since i'm 21 and most kids my age are nearing their Bachelors. I've had A LOT of things happen since High School, and an associates is pretty dang good. It's been really hard with Damon. He wants to come and push all my buttons on my computer and touch my screen and just sit on my lap. So it can take a long time to get simple things done. Dan has been AMAZING! Oh my goodness. Let me just start a list for you.
He cooks
He cleans
He watches Damon
He gives Damon his bath
He does the yard work
He rubs my back
He picks up all of Damons toys
He folds the laundry
He even cleans the bathrooms!
Best of all, he asks if there's any homework he can help me with!!!
I know I know, I have the BEST husband in the world. He's been so amazing. In fact, right now he is at Costa Vida picking up dinner because I haven't been in the kitchen all day, or even the grocery store. And at the end of a long day, who wants mac and cheese? Not us.
School is tough, and I hate it. But I can't wait to be done and have that solid degree. It's worth it to say I have something. If there are any of you mom's out there that are wanting to go to school, do it. It's worth all the boring class meetings and homework.
On another note Damon is turning 1 on Friday. How stinkin crazy is that?! It seems like yesterday I was pregnant. And if you didn't read my last post, I'm extremely baby hungry. hahaha It just the best thing ever to be a mom, and that's all I've ever wanted! So why not take advantage right! In high school people would say that they could picture me with 8 kids and I'd always say no that's crazy, but I'm starting to think they might be right! Ok. Maybe not 8, but definitely more than 3.
Here's a quick Damon update!
He just got another tooth on the bottom. He now has 7. And I'm positive his molars are coming in and I think I even feel his eye teeth, or whatever you call them.
He is walking folks! It's about time! He's been leading us around since he was 8 months, and now he's doing it by himself! He's been doing it alot today, it's so crazy to watch. It just clicked for him!
He now goes up and down the stairs no problem! He is a pro!
He loves to go outside
He loves bubbles
He waves and claps his hands
He dances, which he's done for as long as I can remember, but it's so cute I had to post it again.
He does high 5 and points at things
He's such a jabber box! He's constantly talking
He makes the funniest faces and expressions. Everyone comments on how expressive he is. It's adorable
He's the biggest flirt. Today I watched a youtube video of a little girl dancing, and he was smiling and laughing and as soon as it stopped he looked at me and frowned. We are in huge trouble!

Well that's just a little bit of an update! I'll try to be better about blogging! My computer is seriously going to explode. It's been on all day.
I hope your day is going great!

  1. I'm almost 30, and I'm not done with my associates! I'm like 6 credits shy, as of about 6 yrs ago. Super Lame, I never finished. I think I got married instead. HAHA.

So you're doing good, to be 21 and and be married, have a kid, and be 14 credits away!:)
